Font request

Should I maybe go to another board and ask this?

You should probably ask whoever made it.
It feels like the distortion was handmade, though I could be wrong.

I did ask, in the /tg/ general for World of Darkness, but got no replies. These images (more than one uses the same font) have been around for 2-3 years, and I think the guy who made them is long gone, so they don't have the answer for me.

Looks like the font itself is Garamond Bold. Beyond that it was edited.

Here's the steps to make the same thing in Photoshop:
>type out your words in pure white with no stroke
>duplicate text layer
>move one of the layers slightly up
>with the rectangular marquee tool, select vertical bars of the text
>apply layer mask
>select inverse of your mask
>apply layer mask to the other text layer
>rasterize and merge the two text layers
>layer fx menu
>stroke
>adjust offset and make black
