need help with PC problems
My old monitor broke and the one I want to use goes black upon start up(log in screen) it shows the bios and everything whilst booting and it works in safe mode, I'm using this borrowed monitor and it works fine
Any way I can get it to work? it's a proper TV screen probably around 30 inch I'm using windows 10 via a 9500GT with RGB

You sure it is a problem with the monitor and not with the GPU?
Because it seem like it starts going black as soon as the drivers kick in.

Safe mode it, then see if lowering resolution/refresh rate fixes the problem
You could also uninstall graphics drivers in safe mode and restart in normal mode.

I think it's the TV, it doesn't work unless it;s 800x600 resolution and it gives me weird options like 1200x768 and the only refresh option I get is 64hz
