do any of you anons know how to turn music 8 or 16 bit?

What do you mean? Like taking an mp3 file, running it throught a program and getting an 8 bit version?

That will not be possible.
The most similar thing will be getting the midi of a song and running it through GXSCC, the issue now is getting a midi of whatever song you want.
