Koe no Katachi Movie

Anime movies usually only get to us after their blurays have been released.

The blurays for Koe no Katachi will release on May 17th, according to Amazon JP. After that, you'll have to wait for someone to upload the raws and then for someone to translate it.

Considering the popularity of it, at least from my view, I'd say you'd be able to watch it before the end of May, but who knows.


Check Nyaa daily after May 17th and hope it's there one of those days.

Also, any idea when Kimi no na wa is coming out on Blu ray? The date I saw online was October 30, 2017 and that I think was a placeholder date.

I would recommend waiting for good quality rips of the bluray, but it has been almost 9 months (the usual waiting time for an anime movie bluray) with no signs or announcements of a release date for it, so if your impatience gets to you, I wouldn't blame you.

Amazon JP hasn't even put up a page for it yet, so I have absolutely no idea. I would think they'd have gotten a bluray out for this movie as fast as possible, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Maybe it's still making a bunch of money in theaters or they're waiting for overseas fans to watch it in theaters first. Or has that already happened, I can't remember.

Probably is a placeholder date, but hopefully it's sooner than that.
