so i've been recently trying to get back into watching anime and have been watching some things that I would consider to be good and actually finished a few like Denkigai no Honya-san and Umaru (all memes aside, I think it's pretty good). But i've been needing suggestions of some good examples to get back into it, and I have things in my backlog like Strike Witches, Watamote, YuruYuri, Assassination Classroom, School Live and I started Dragon Maid. Anything else worth checking out?
So you basically like comedy/SoL anime?
The ones I liked were
Working!! (3 seasons worth, plenty of likeable characters)
Non Non Biyori (CGDCT, no real plot, but really cute.)
Nichijou (Sometimes the humor is a bit surrealistic)
Danshi koukousei no nichijou (High-school boys broing it up)
Also, if you havent watched classics, such as FMA or Trigun or something, I recommend those too. They aren't as lightweight as what you've watched, but have a good story regardless.
Fune wo Amu and Gi(a)rlish Number were the best SoL anime of 2016

Demi-chan was good SoL this season.

Mikakunin de Shinkoukei is one I particularly liked. I admit, it might not be everyone's kind of thing, but it's very SoLy. A personal favorite, really.
Then there's also Sabagebu, which is amazing.
Both of these are only one season long AFAIK, but they're good.
I'd recommend bumping Yuru Yuri up a few places on your backlog, it's really worth a watch.
Other shows from the last couple years to consider:
Yuyushiki
Barakamon
Anne Happy
Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu Ka?
Shimoneta
Flying Witch
Amanchu
New Game
Oh and One Punch Man, if you somehow haven't watched it yet, is a super popular title that you're going to see talked about. There's a few other meme shows that occasionally get referenced too, but they're not really worth watching.
