Yamaha receiver

All the universal remotes I've used (not cox) work to search codes with it off. It just turns on once you hit the right code instead of turning off. Wont work if there's seperate on and off buttons

Go down to instructions "remote setup using device code entry"

Then lookup the reciever codes for yamaha and try them one by one until you find the one that works.

Put a piece of tape on the inside of the battery cover and write the code down (and other required keypresses if theres room)to save yourself the trouble next time.
