How do i solve for acceleration of a system if it has an object in an inclined plane? I'm so confused, please explain

diagram all the forces. split them into x- and y-directions. sum them up to see what the net force is and in what direction it's acting. f = ma.

I get what i'm supposed to do with A but i'm having trouble with B. I assume the acceleration is downwards for A and to the northwest for B but how do I write the equations that I need?
Also, we use 9.8 for gravity
