I might get shit for this but I really need help.
I recently got an ASUS VG278HV monitor. The thing works really well, except that I am getting screen tearing only in google chrome, specifically when watching youtube or anime. The problem didn't start with this monitor tho, I had it with my previous monitor which was a shitty Acer monitor with a bad ghosting problem, but it was a very similar monitor, 144hz 27 in 1080p. I've tried everything I've looked up online and I can't fix it at all.
My specs are:
GTX 970
i5 4670K @ 3.4 GHz
16gb ram
Pls, I'll take any suggestions and I'll respond whether or not I've tried a suggestion. I really need some help on this one.

because I never saw it happening with my original monitor, that one was just 60hz. I don't really think it's because of my monitor but It started happening after I changed monitors and I don't know how to fix it.
