You can freeze time, walk in front of someone, shoot a bunch of bullets/arrows at them, hide, then unfreeze.
That's just one of the applications.
I know people have made mid-air grenade jumps possible with it.

Red dead redemption sort of when you use your red dead ability. Though you slow down as well
