I am seraching for a new mouse. I find it really hard to find a mouse with 1000-3000 dpi that isn't a all-over-the-place-glowing expencive gaming mouse. I am looking for a simple designe, just 5 buttons no extra software, no LED crap not a expensive "gaming" mouse. There has to be one.
I had pic related since 2011 and it's holding out pretty well but it's so worn out that I need a new one. Thanks in advance.
Sould I ask /g/?

Try the Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0

No joke, last forever and comfy as fuck. The only problem is that it's only 1000dpi, that's it, no options.

Maybe the Logitech G403 Prodigy.

It looks to be the newest iteration of the MX500/MX518/G400s etc line that a lot of people like.

It's on the expensive site for me at least. I do like the design. No unnecessary shit.

It seems like they aren't produced anymore. There are a view on Amazon for 90€. Am I looking right?

You can still get the old model at half the price: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104838

I've used every iteration of this series of mice and have always been very happy with it.

Thanks again. The newer model looks better to me. I have to accept that the times where you can buy a good mouse for 20 bucks are over, I guess.
