Looking for a guide to essential Nier sidequests. I remember it was in a form of a single picture.

I don't have one with the essential sidequests, but I do have one that will make playing the game a breeze.
I assume this is your first playthrough, so I'm gonna throw this out so you don't get bad surprises: go watch ending C and D on YT instead of doing them. Collecting all swords is a real timesink.
In any case, if you still plan on collecting swords, I suggest you don't do ending D and watch it on YT instead.
I don't have a guide but if you're looking to platinum it just make sure you do enough side quests in the first part so you don't lock yourself out of the side quest trophy.

>not doing ending D
Watching a video takes away all the impact of the experience. It is a unique ending that I will remember forever.

>It is a unique ending that I will remember forever.
Can't argue with that.

Plus if you really care about keeping your save data for whatever reason you can just use ps plus to grab your saves after ending D.

This one?

>Collecting all swords is a real timesink
It isn't? I recently completed all endings of NieR and I literally only had missed one sword from a side-quest I looked up from this guide >>261919
>I suggest you don't do ending D
Ending D is essential, no reason to avoid it. You should complete ending C first then D, but there's really nothing to gain from watching it on YouTube.
