I stepped on it and I don't know what a need to replace.

...you stepped on your monitor??
>I don't know what a need to replace.
you need to replace the whole panel (screen)
if that is a desktop panel you will need to buy a new monitor instead (panels for desktop monitors are almost impossible to find for sale)
>>261616
its kill OP - google the brand and model for replacements and try not step on the monitor next time
My bad, I should have clarified that it's a laptop screen.

OP here by the way
>>261616
i didn't click on this thread earlier because i thought you stepped on a squid, from looking at the thumbnail
>>261654
either go by model or take the screen out and get the screens model no: off the back and buy off ebey etc, i would take the screen out first, using screen model is often cheaper and you can match the 30/40 pin position off the pic

Google the model and "screen replacement". At least with touchscreen on me mum's laptop that I helped replace (cat sat on it...), all you have to do it use a flathead screwdriver to pop the screen from the case (not caring about the glass since the new screen has its own) and disconnect the ribbon cable from inside the laptop, then connect your new screen's ribbon cable and then <<gently>> pop the new screen into the screen housing.

Replace your heart that jumped out of your chest because you stepped on a xenomorph?

Just adding that youtube will have tutorials on disassembling most laptops without breaking them further.
REQUESTING someone turn OP's crack into a wallpaper

There's no need to take it out, programs like HWiNFO can tell you the exact screen model.

im not proud of this
