Can someone better at English help me with making this sentence sound more fluent and easier on the eye, whilst keeping it short, please.
The reason for my request is I am looking to expand my network, and your software skills and experience are in high demand with a many of my OEM and Tier 1 clients.
You mean the sentence "How good is your English?"
I don't see anything wrong with that as it is. If you want to be more formal you could say "How proficient are you in English?" but the first sentence would be fine in most situations.

can you provide some context for the sentence? It sounds like you're hiring someone but I'd hate to translate a sentence and incorrectly infer what you're trying to say
