Xbox 360 didn't really have any exclusive fighting games. Marvel vs Capcom 3, Dead or Alive 4, Tekken Tag 2, Tekken 6, Persona Fighting Arena Ultimax and BlazBlue: Continuum Shift. Some of these are both 2D and 3D fighters.

Arcana Heart 3 never had a US release.

I wasnt a big fan of DOA 5. A lot of the fighting games during this period had re-releases with bonus content.

I dont like the style of Street Fighter X Tekken. I dont like the cell shaded look. Injustice is just shit. I stopped playing Mortal Kombat games since 5 on PS2. I've never been a big fan of the Soulcalibur series.

If your into fighting games Dreamcast and PS2 had better fighting games.

I really like the tekken games. But they are pretty hit or miss with some people.

If you like first person shooters payday 2 is a really good one.

Be aware that online is unforgiving

The Ninja storm series is also good.

I recommend getting an arcade stick to play with. A normal controller is fine, but the arxade stick really adds a lot of enjoyment.
Just pick a fighting game that's appealing to you and if you're starting out, it helps tremendously to have a friend that is starting out too. That way you always have someone to play at your level and you can progress at any pace you like. Since x360 is old gen, there will most likely only be veterans online that will beat your ass every time
