I am looking for similar games like bravely default and dragon quest 7. I also want to get into Shin Megami franchise on the 3ds. So is there any jrpgs that worth checking out on the system?

There's quite a few Dragon Quest games on the system if you liked that, and two or three Mario and Luigi RPG games if you count those.

Zelda a link between two world is awsome.
Its more puzzle then RPG but I totally recomend

Try Shin Megami Tensei 4, it's really amazing, the battle system is fast, complex but also very user-friendly, but it's hard early game I warned you

If you liked it you can try Apocalypse which is the sequel
