Terraria is a really fun slasher.
Alien swarm is free and pretty fun.
Leathal league is cheap right now.
Hotline Miami is a fun action puzzle game.
Portal 2 is like $4

You could just play Creative mode on Minecraft. That is the peaceful version of Minecraft. You just build stuff and enemies don't attack you and you can listen to Minecraft's soundtrack which is calm piano music.
