I got my computer back from a local computer shop worker and he fixed it except now whenever I turn it on it comes up with a black screen or the letters AB in the bottom right I have tried plugging it in to a different monitor but the same thing happened and is custom built so I don't know what to do

Does the PC power up, and stay on, i.e do you hear fans starting? Any beep codes or led codes?
>Check if RAM is seated properly
>Try with only one RAM stick
>Try a different RAM stick
>Check cabling
>Check cabling again
>Clear CMOS
>CPU heatsink OK?
>Reseat (not "reset") everything
>Try a different PSU/GPU
Half that I didn't understand but I have a clear CMOS button

How do you propose he do that on a computer that won't boot?
This happens whenever I CLR CMOS on my smaller monitor

Get that screen up again, and use it to update the BIOS.
Your BIOS is displaying copyrights from 2010, and the latest BIOS available was released in 2012.
You might need to plug the computer in by wired Ethernet, or even download the BIOS onto a USB stick.
How would I go about doing that?
