For those latin speakers here, what is the Latin way of saying "Hail victory!"?
I want to include this phrase in something I'm writing up, but I'm not sure how the grammar would work in that sentence and which words would be best.
:( pls respond

I guess it would be "Salve, victoria!" But that literally translates to "Hello, victory."

Ave, Victoria!

Um, I'd say "ASTA LA VICTORIA!"
Which kinda translates to Till Victory
Meaning, keep going till we win or something like that mate

>But that literally translates to "Hello, victory."
Which is literally the same thing as "Hail victory", isn't it? The tone's just different.

You could say "¡Viva la victoria!", which keeps the same spirit; it also is cringy as fuck, just like yours.

>Hail victory
He's trying to say this in Latin and just didn't come out and ask: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazi_salute

No.
You're literally saying hello *to* victory. Whatever that would mean. I assume victory walked into the room, and you're saying hi to it so as not to be impolite.
