Edit: not just a video i 'don't agree with'- video has me in it, and it's extremely embarrassing.

Plex.tv is a platform for sports games. After games happen, for highschool, college, etc., the coaches like to post them on the site. To post/use the site, you have to register, and I suppose i could register under a fake email, but if you were a site owner and a brand new account asked you to remove a video because 'they were in it'. They can't just remove videos per request, it makes the site look bad. I want to say i tried that, but i didn't.

What would defacing the website achieve

OP, if you shot the video, you hold the copyright, and can file DMCA complaints and takedown notices.

If didn't shoot the video and are simply in it, you don't hold the copyright, and you have no legal way to demand its removal. Many sites will take it down for you if you can make a case that you're being cyberbullied or revenge-porned, but that's at their disgression, so you'd better make a pretty good case. Other sites may remove videos for simple right-to-privacy reasons, but again, you have to convince them because they're not legally obligated to do anything.

I know. I already realize i don't have the copyright, that wasn't the question. I realize there's a small chance they can remove it per request, that's why I wanted to get in contact with someone who can do that themselves.
