Your's is a little more subtle than mine, what did you use?

I'm assuming you cut the eyes out with the lasso tool (judging by added lines surrounding the eyes)

I used the polygonal lasso tool, paste eyes on a new layer and adjust hue to -42. There is a line between the iris and brows though.

You both seem to have cut the ICCv2 profile, as the entire rest of the image gets more saturated than OP's when you view it in Chrome (which only does ICCv2) and not in IE (which does ICCv2 and ICCv4).

I simply copied the image from chrome(right click), paste it in Photoshop, and save it as .png with max compression.

Try copying the URL, then pasting it into Photoshop's "Open" dialogue. The clipboard strips colourspaces.

For edits as small as these, you're best adding a hue layer, adjusting it to your liking, then filling it with black and drawing the edit back on with a brush.
