I've mostly been a console gamer forever, so I've missed out on quite a bit of indie and smaller PC titles that don't really see mainstream release
I don't have a gaming PC, just a low power laptop that's just adequately capable of playing games like CS at 60fps, so was just wondering if there are some games you could recommend that I should check out?
Stuff like Euro Truck Simulator, To the Moon or Pacman Championship edition. Ideally cheaper stuff that will run on weaker hardware.
Thanks and merry christmas!
Also wouldn't mind older titles being recommended either
What kinds of games do you like?

Open to any suggestions really, not really into shooters and strategy games but that's about it. I just feel like there's a whole load of shit I never managed to play that I should now check out

do you like pixel art games?
maybe sword & sworcery, shovel knight, minish cap, journey
also have you played old classic stuff like zelda's ocarina of time, metroid, halo 1&2 pc, oblivion, thps2, nfsu1 & 2

I'm not big into them but I don't mind them. I'll have to look into emulators, thanks for the suggestions, I'll take a look at them
terraria
Terraria will let you clock a ton of hours for a small price ($2.50 on sale). Playing with a friend drastically increases the fun.
Other cheap games : FTL, Grow Home, Lethal League (with friends), the Masterplan, Nuclear Throne, Spelunky, Stardew Valley, and Uplink (if you like the concept of being a hacker)

Mount & Blade: Warband definetely. It's on sale on steam and is definitely the best indie game in my opinion.

Gotta remember he's running on a spud laptop. Doubt it could run M&B properly.

It'd probably help if I mentioned my specs, wouldn't it?
Core i5-6200u with integrated Intel HD 520 graphics, 8GB RAM
It runs 2008 Prince of Persia fine if that's any indication, Euro Truck Simulator 2 also runs on fine on Medium at 720p.
Again, thanks for the suggestions lads. With the Steam sale on I figured it'd be a good time to look
Undertale. Just ignore the fandom.

Nigga, you can run enough.
RPG like you never seen:
Vampire The Masquerade / Redemption, Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines
Space combat and trading:
X: Beyond The Frontier / X2: The Threat / X3: Reunion
And this you might have heard of:
Deus Ex Human Revolution
Too bad you are not into strategy, because Age Of Wonders 1/2/3 and Homeworld are golden.

Every Valve game. Half-Life & Portal especially run on shite computers.

Yeah I've played Deus Ex on my 360, quite enjoyed it
The others again, I'll be sure to check out
