I noticed that they use the same player on vimeo, https://vimeo.com/196277011 but I can download from vimeo, the other webite uses some kind of protection I guess

Open up the network inspector (Usually ctrl + shift + 1) select network.
Reload the page, (wait a bit) then play the video.
Tell me what type of files are loaded when playing it. (If you see .mpd, .f4m, m3u8, etc)
