I just pirated a game and it came with 5 files (2 'discs'). Disk 2 consists of bin/cue files which I am used to but Disk 1 consists of ccd/img/sub files which I have never had to deal with before and cannot get to run. I have tried google but it isn't very helpful and most of the advice is over a decade old. Please help.
You should be able to mount the img-file like any other iso or mds file using your already installed dmon tools.

It says "Error in command line"

I assume you tried mounting all the other files?
You could always try extracting with 7-zip and either run the files like that, or repackage them into something you can mount.
My last pirate adventures are also over a decade ago, so I could just be missing something obvious. Maybe another anon has an easy fix.

I tried all the files and the only one that mounts is the ccd file but it is empty (as all the data is the img) so I don't know what to do with it. I'm currently trying to redownload the file in case its corrupt, but otherwise I'm stuck
Okay, I was able to solve it myself by downloading a program called IsoBuster which is able to extract the files.
