So i woke up today and started up my PC. and no audio comes through my headphones. i've tried my speakers and my spare earbuds and nothing works. i tried them all on other devices and they work fine. i've been trying to fix this all day, i even reset my PC to a date before this problem was happening. All of the software says nothing is wrong but sound just won't come through any kind of audio device. I've uninstalled and reinstalled drivers. i've trouble shooted everything. i have no clue what the problem is. PLEASE help me /wsr/

Check your volumes. You probably muted them by accident.

go to your audio device manager (should be somewhere in the control panel) and make sure the devices you are testing are marked as the default device

did you get an OS patch or do an upgrade or add some new software? (guessing windows) do you have a recent restore point?

there's an option in one of the reboot menus to "restart from last good configuration".. try that.

Could be a hardware problem, try checking inside the CPU. Something might've loosened up (or nestled in).
