Ah ok, thanks fammy. How did you figure it out?

Here's the steps for anyone curious.
>right click image in photoshop and click blending options
>in first tab, there should be something named "Blend if:". Select Red
>adjust the first level until you get something right (130 should be fine)
>create new adjustment layer and check "Use Legacy"
>set both brightness and contrast to -100
>get pic related

Also, how do I smooth out these edges? they're jagged as fuck

Only way I could think of is to redraw, or blur it extensively.
