Hi, I haven't been watching anime on an active basis for the past two years. It would be nice if we could get a recommendation thread going. Figured, it might help others find something they'd be interested in watching.
Personally, I don't have specific genre preferences, but I'd appreciate somewhat less popular shows (ie. shows that you don't stumble upon by just being on internet, like One Punch Man).
ano hana for starters
Concrete Revolutio
91 Days
Thunderbolt Fantasy
Rakugo Shinjuu
Akatsuki no Yona
>less popular shows
Not sure what would qualify, but I'll toss some titles, mind you, I have no fucking idea what you have seen or not, so I might look like an idiot, also I mostly watch/know stuff that came out years ago, so you probably know of them
Kyousougiga was big when it came out then fade into obscurity
Space patrol luluco was a nice surprise from trigger, you could also watch its other show that came last year: kiznaivers
Gunsmith cats three eps OVAs are wonderful
Mononoke is worth checking for its style
Ping Pong the animation
Golden Boy
Galko Chan is hilarious in how it portrays girls more realistically than moeshits
in return, could you help me with >>232870 ?

Wowowow, thanks for the recs. 91 Days, Rakugo and Akatsuki no Yona seem to be right up my alley, downloading them at the moment.

Thanks, I haven't seen that many shows from the past 2 or 3 years, and I figured I'd get better ideas on what to pick up here rather than browsing on social media sites, not that I dismiss a recommendation based on that, but fresh ideas and perspectives are more appreciated, haha.
I haven't seen any Trigger shows except for Kill la Kill, which I liked, so I'll be sure to check out Luluco and Kiznaiver. Things like this or Galko-chan of which I've barely even heard of is the stuff I've been looking for.
I've replied in your thread, hope I managed to help you find something fun to watch.
