I just finished watching Evangelion and End of Evangelion.
Is Rebuild of Evangelion just a compilation of this or a separate entity?
Is there anything else I need to watch?

The Rebuilds are more of a reboot and a more accessible and dumbed down version of what the original show was. You don't need to see anything else.

Do you want to see the first six episodes of Evangelion digitally animated in widescreen? Watch 1.11.
Do you want to see Shinji Ikari as a shonen action hero? Watch 2.22.
Do you want to watch Shinji get bullied by the entire cast for no reason and generally have no idea what the fuck is going on? Watch 3.33.
They started out pretending to be a reboot, then became something completely different
According to some theories online, they're a sequel to nge
Some people think they're not as good as the original and some others don't mind. They're still made by Anno so you should watch them anyway.
If you understand Japanese (or find an English patch), you should play Neon Genesis Evangelion 2 for ps2/psp or at least read the plot extras that should make some aspects of the story more clear. They were also written by Anno. Finally, there's the movie Death (true) and Sadamoto's manga, which are not really important, but still

Don't forget the Shinji Ikari Raising Project.
Probably the most important supplementary material for Eva.

yeah supposedly rebuild it's a sequel that happens to have the same plot repeated with minor changes after shinji decided to reverse the world back to normal anyways that's the theory someone pointed out since kaoru dialog now says "this time..." there's a pretty good video on youtube explaining a lot things and details from the original to the rebuild series but it's in spanish
On the surface it's a reanimation anthology.
If you want >deep
It miiiiiiiiiiiight be a sequel series
Worth watching in 2 years when you need a refresher
