I always felt terranigma was dark tense at the beginning, and the end is pretty trippy. middle is kinda comfy though. Still, its fun

Obviously FF6 has a pretty dark theme running through it, but you probably have played that

shadowrun as anon said. Its good, but prepare to get fucked a lot early on.
