Spilt some water on the monitor, so it got like this. Anything I can do with it or should I just buy a new one? And how much repairing it would cost? I bought it for around $70, so I don't think that would be cost-effective, but asking just in case.

directly, no. but you could use your laptop to remote into the other pc and work like that. i use that method to remote into a headless (no monitor/keyboard/mouse) server to do things on the server desktop.
3 methods i've used. anydesk, rdp and vnc. rdp was the mose responsive. playing games is out tho.

never did it myself but i used a regular monitor when my laptop one was broke
