I want to find a source for this quote:
Evergy good mathematician is at least half philosopher, and every good philosopher is at least half mathematician-- Gottlob Frege
So far I have found the source on wikiquotes but cant find a digital copy of that source online or in my library at uni. I really want to read the context that the quote is first used in. Please help me find it
I meant the source they used on wikiquotes. Its called "Mathematics as grammar: 'Grammar' in Wittgenstein's philosophy of mathematics during the Middle Period"
So i have this from google books but it doesnt appear to be readable. Let me know if anyone can figure out how to read it
