what would that do? anyway, just checked the manual and there's a drain cycle. I tried it but instead of the water being drained I just get a noise.

Washing machines sometimes have like a porthole kinda shit near the bottom which you can use to manually drain it into a bucket or something. Dunno about your model, though.

Yes I was gonna say so, mine has a little pipe on the front at the bottom, behind the white panel, that I can use to manually drain the machine into a bucket. Get on your knees and look for a detachable panel at the base of your machine.
