Hello friends. Used to be kind of a computer nerd when I was younger, but since I started going to college and learn about other shit, I kinda dropped the subject.
Need to know if I should upgrade my graphics card or my processor first.
AMD Radeon HD 5450 is my video card and
AMD Phenom II X4 830 is my processor. Also, should I worry about getting a new motherboard? I bought my PC in 2012. Thanks for the help.
For what purpose are you upgrading it?

Running newer games. I can only run Overwatch in it's lowest settings and it still drops below 60 FPS sometimes. Dark Souls 3 is unplayable.

Forgot to mention, my budget is about 300 dollars.

What is your board?
Also, $300 ain't much really in terms of processor vs graphics card. Both usually should be expensive on gaming rigs.
P.S. Yeah, recommend the 6600k series from Intel. Mainstream, yes... Expensive... yes... but you get what you pay for.

I don't really intend on playing new games in Ultra. If I can run DS3 on low settings at 30FPS until I get more money in december I'll be fine.

At 60fps*
