Did you try to do a system restore, and got this error?

I try doing that but it gave me an error, it said "to use system restore you must specify which windows installation to restore. Restart this computer, select an operating system and then select system restore

I am using the windows 10 DVD that came with my computer

Try what's under "Unable to reset your PC. A required drive partition is missing."

if you have a windows cd, you might as well reinstall after backing up your files
