a lot of stuff in this list is just objectively bad. poorly done animation, amateurish character design, incoherent plots and badly written characters. the opinion that Hyouka is boring is subjective, the fact Elfen Lied has low quality visuals and writing is pretty much inarguable.

sure, teenagers and people who're inexperienced with the medium can't tell when something is extremely badly done, but it doesn't mean that thing isn't bad. there are plenty of shows that people who don't know any better can enjoy (regardless of age and viewing experience).
