Welp, through autistic rage I've finally done my computer in. I think these wires are the source of my computer not booting, but there's no sound as if something's in my computer loose. How the hell do I connect these?

As for the error itself...
>>
Those are antenna cables, you usually screw these wires on a wifi-card:

Your error looks like you are trying to boot via network. Try hitting F12 (or whatever the screen is telling you to press for boot manager) on startup and selecting your primary hard drive for boot.
Or go into your BIOS and select which device to boot from there.

Ah. People I had it fixed from before (battery problem) said they took it out and replaced it with some usb wifi thing.

Neither Option works.
>>
>>192983
These are both network boot options.
My guess is that normal boot options are disabled in BIOS, or the priority is wrong.
Try entering your BIOS and look for boot order/boot device there to set it to your hard drive or SSD with the operating system on it.

On most systems you have to hit ESC on startup to enter BIOS.

I'm guessing everything's wrong.
>>
Yeah, that either means your BIOS can't find your drive, because the cables are disconnected or it's dead. Or it's not even looking for hard drives, because it's disabled in BIOS.

Like I said, go to BIOS and look for boot device/boot order.

In BIOS, turns out it's a lenovo specific key.

Show pictures of the other screens.

I would assume the leftmost should show what hard drives, SSD or whatnots you may have.

Hmmt hat's a really weird BIOS.
So now we know that your Laptop is detecting your hard drive, but it is simply ignoring it as a possible boot device.
I'd try disabling secure boot and setting the boot mode to legacy instead of UEFI, to check if new options will show up.

Resetting the BIOS to default could also help.

Legacy Boot
>>
>>192982
lol they stole ur wifi card to sell to another costumer
>>
>>193003
The thing they gave me as a replacement worked better than the wifi card I had, at least for the 3 months I had it.

Check if there are new options in the BIOS after enabling legacy boot and disabling secure boot.

If not, you can try resetting your BIOS to standard.

I can't think of any other ways at the moment if that doesn't help :(
Maybe some other anon has an idea if resetting doesn't work, but I will let you know if something else comes to mind
>>
>>193002
seems like it's trying to connect through ethernet and doesnt find the cable
>>
>>193010
The wird thing is that there is no option to choose HDD instead of LAN-boot. I've never seen a setup without that option.
>>
Lenovo G510 everyone. Chinese company RIP.
>>
>>192972
what did you exactly do before the problem started?

try placing ur wifi in another usb port
>>
>>193019
I downloaded streamline through steam, reatarted computer, and rip.
Also I'll assassinate the pope if putting it in a different USB fixes it.
>>
OP here, everything is rip.
>>
>through autistic rage I've finally done my computer in
if that means you threw your machine on the ground or smashed it with a hammer (or any other abusive manner), then your hard drive is dead.
>>
>>193001
That's because it's munged.

If it had a readable EFI partition on it, it would show up in the menu.

You should probably just read up on how EFI works instead of wasting OP's time by having him teach you by trial and error.
>>
>>193012
You need to set it to "legacy" then invoke the boot menu when it starts up.

Not that that will work: computers don't spontaneously switch from Legacy to UEFI, so if it was set to UEFI this morning, it will have been set to UEFI in the factory.

Obviously, legacy can't boot a UEFI partition, which is why it looks at the hard disk, can't find a readable partition table let alone a bootable partition, and then moves on to trying to boot off the network.
>>
>>193154
All UEFIs I worked with still gave the option to customize boot device order.
It's easy coming into a thread acting mighty high after half a dozen people extracted as much info as possible from an autistic kid who could've just stated he smashed his PC.
>>
>>193100
Eh, mostly just said that cause I got no clue why the wires were disconnected. See what others said sbove. Worst this comp has had is angry typing.
>>
>>193161
It does.

It's listing every device that's present, and allowing you to reorder them both.

I feel truly sorry for you that you had to go through all that rigmarole to get to "the hard disk is munged", because most people would have gotten there immediately, and not made OP try dumb things like booting an EFI OS with a legacy BIOS.
>>
>>193438
According to device info, the drive is there and working, though. So it could just be, you know, like I fucking stated, some problem with secure boot not accepting the working drive as a boot device, which is what we wanted to find out. You're really just a bastard mate. Just saying "drive ded" would've been a shot in the dark without the questions asked, and also factually wrong.
>>
>>193444
UEFI makes a distinction between bootable devices and some-random-hard-disk-that-just-happens-to-be-connected (the same disk can have several EFI bootloaders on it), so the disk not appearing anywhere in the list of bootloaders is absolute proof that there's no readable EFI partition on it.

You should have already known this instead of wasting other peoples' time teaching you how EFI works.
>>
>>193466
You missed the point for 3 entire posts now. You must be severely autistic, so I will be nice to you. The point of these questions was finding out if the drive works, then if secure boot failed, to be sure OP is not throwing away hardware just because we are lazy.
>>
>>192982
You got fucked, they should have installed a much better internal card instead of that trash
>>192992
Your hard drive is probably dead since it's not showing up on that page. Bring your laptop to a real specialist and get it fixed for 100 bucks. All the data you had on the computer is basically gone.
