Anything i should change?
Should i get a better cpu since i can get a good deal on any intel cpus?

Get a better gpu. Your cpu is more than fine since nowadays games depend more on graphic units than processors.

This
Unless you need the overclocking ability for other tasks such as compiling, rendering, encoding, etc., It's best that you go with a 6500/6400 and invest in a better gpu.

Could you explain overclocking to me.
Ive heard of it before but never really understood it.

It's when you add more voltage to your cpu and then raise the frequency (clock speed) on your processor. Ex: My 5820k is overclocked to 4.5ghz from 3.3ghz, which means that it just runs and works better for compiling.
The downside to overclocking is that it adds more heat to your cpu and overall shortens the life span
So yeah, unless your playing very cpu intensive and largely physics based games such as beam.ng drive, then you don't need a "k" series cpu.

How is this?

I don't fully agree with this. Yes, overvolting will shorten a CPUs lifespan. However, even fairly strong overclocked CPUs often last for more 10 years.
If you think about how long you use a CPU, then 10 years is a very long for most people. That would be like using an old Core 2 Duo E6600 today.
So the lifespan isn't an issue for most people.
And if you do want to use your CPU for a long time, then you can start overclocking it once it becomes too slow, to keep up.
For example, a first generation i7 from 2009, the i7 920, can still run most games on stock clocks, but will be way slower than a new CPU. However, overclocaked it can be fast enough to fully utilize modern GPUs, meaning it will deliver equal gaming experience to todays CPUs.
So if you play it smart, having the capacity to OC will extend the lifetime of a CPU instead of shortening it.
