You put the cart before the horse, no?
Just google "HP Notebook 15 excellent", and then you'll feel good about your purchase and it'll go faster.

>The Mojave Experiment is an advertising campaign by Microsoft for the Windows Vista operating system. The participants in the experiment were asked about their perceptions of Windows Vista and then were shown a ten-minute demo of Microsoft's "next OS," codenamed "Mojave". After the experiment was over, it was revealed that "Mojave" was actually Windows Vista.
>As a result, the average rating of "Vista" was 4.4 out of 10, but the average rating for the "Mojave" OS was 8.5 out of 10.
Your computer works better if you think it's gonna. The placebo effect is real and a big deal.

Pity, I've had three HP Pavilion laptops, all have died due to overheating.
It is apparently a thing with HP laptops.
But while they were working, they were great. So there's that.

I have a 5 year old Pavilion. Never had problems with overheating but that might be because I have HP software that controls the fan speed. On the other hand, anything other than "quiet" mode and moderate computing and the the fan gets noticeably loud.

HP Cool & Quiet?
Yeah, I used that. After a few months the fan just ran flat out most of the time. If I left it idle for about half an hour it would slow down but then speed up whenever I started using it again. I checked the radiators and fans, they were mostly clear of dust and fibers. Many HP laptops have this overheating issue. None of mine have lasted more than two years. I will never buy another HP laptop again. I'm happy you aren't suffering from this problem, hope it stays that way.

I have an HP laptop that I've had for almost 2 years now and it hasn't died from over heating. And I used it quite a lot.
@OP
Why are you asking for reviews AFTER you bought it instead of before?
How much did you buy it for?

This. Especially HP they have drives that go busy after like a year, most common thing I do in the shop is replacing them.
