I don't suggest you to use a laptop for gaming, but you may have a look at Asus ROG (Republic of Gamers) laptops.

Wait literally three months for kit like this to come along.

One of my biggest qualms with the Asus ROG GX700 was the fact that it's hard to categorize it as a gaming laptop when it requires the liquid-cooling dock to really game. The GX800 doesn't solve this problem and instead pours on with more over the top hardware and extreme power needs that will undoubtedly destroy its potential battery.
I personally love the absolute ridiculous nature of it, but this isn't a gaming desktop for the meek or average gamers. I also have to see how well it does in benchmarks and other gaming tests before I can recommend it to hardcore gamers or the most extreme power users of gaming laptops.
Thanks Any other ideas . bump

Well, it has a pair of desktop 1080s in SLI, so I imagine it'll do quite well.
>potential battery.
Heh. It draws 660W.
An 11Wh 18650 cell (the kind most battery packs are built from) would power it for ONE MINUTE.
Actually, it would go on fire, but the math says it'd go one minute. Realistically, the thing's just going to stop you engaging the GPU unless AC's available.
When you're not gaming, though, the CPU can cTDP down to 35W, and the GPU idles at ~7W, so we're looking at a respectable fifteen minutes per cell for CPU-heavy workloads, and 30-40 minutes per cell just sitting there doing nothing.

Reportedly, this new one can game on one card, one PSU, and no cooler.
The single 1080 eventually clocks down, but it's still plenty fast compared to a 980M.

Does it really need to be a laptop?
