Ningen Shikkaku(No longer Human) by Osamu Dazai if you look for true despair... even though its a classic it do has a manga adaption. the novel is still better.--> I'm still preytt shocked today after reading it

The Manga adaption of Crime and Punishment is good too. Give it a look, its not for everyones taste.

Ikigami is also quite depressing, maybe even more than "no longer human"
