I have a i7 4771 and a raijintek aidos cooler

The temps are too damn high, about 40 C idle and up to like 90 C in heavy work

Is it shitty cooler or did the thermal paste wear off or something?

Stop that. Also, as long as you're not overclocking, the stock cooler should be enough. Try reapplying thermal paste and see how it goes.

Brand really doesn't matter. If you look at any review, you'll see that the most expensive silver/diamond compounds are only just barely a few degrees better than generic, unbranded Chinese paste.
