I've installed a new Motherboard (ASUS Z170) on my main PC. I'm running Windows 7.
I need drivers as expected except I can't connect to the internet without an ethernet driver and I've downloaded the drivers on my laptop but I need drivers for my USB stick too.
What is strange is that my mouse and keyboard work fine, and the USB stick and ethernet cables both can be used in BIOS. (they get picked up for boot options and I was able to use both of them for BIOS updates).
So how can I get my ethernet cable or USB stick to work in Windows so I can get those drivers?
You could always try an optical drive and writeable cd

I don't have one installed on my main PC, I've never had this problem in the past. I'm considering buying one tomorrow if I can't find an alternate solution tonight though.

Put your old motherboard back in.
Copy drivers over.
Put your new motherboard back in.
Use a SATA drive, for example the 2.5" disk inside a $5 Xbox 360 drive.
Or for christ's sake stop using an OS that hasn't seen a service pack since 2011.
The reason your stick doesn't work is that Windows 7 doesn't support EHCI, which means you need third-party drivers for USB.
All this shit works out of the box on Windows 10, because Windows 10 got a service pack ten days ago.

Actually, just stop being a gigantic shite, and put your laptop's disk in your desktop and load the drivers straight off it.
Problem. solved.

Then what's this? Also why can't you read the goddamn manual that came with the main board, OP?
