Is it Mozzarella Sticks or Mozzarella cheese sticks. I got called an idiot for saying the latter and I want to know if its actually wrong or not
The latter is a bit redundant, but not really "wrong".
If it's a mozzarella stick, it's automatically a cheese stick, but there are other cheese sticks that are not mozzarella.

Thats what I thought. I really just wanted to know if it was improper or not because they made a post on fb after saying "this is why other countries think we are stupid. Its not cheese cheese stick its just cheese stick" and that made me even angrier ha

I don't think it's wrong. Mozzarella doesn't -mean- cheese. It's a kind of cheese.
It's perfectly acceptable to say Cheddar cheese, Tasty cheese, Mozzarella cheese, so why not Mozzarella cheese stick?
whoever they are, are the actual reason other countries think you americans are idiots.

The former

That's as correct as "tuna fish sandwich".
Which is itself as correct as "swordfish fish sandwich".

>this is why other countries think
anyone who uses that line is automatically retarded regardless of whether or not it's actually called Mozzarella Sticks or Mozzarella cheese sticks
