I love the official SWR OST, most of it is not by ZUN so it sounds refreshingly different.

Why don't you try playing more of the games and find out which ones are best for yourself? ZUN puts in effort with a lot of the tracks to synchronize them with specific patterns and boss phases, and it's a really cool and even somewhat emotional experience if you're in the middle of a run.
Even if you're a shit player, continues and easy modo always exist, and besides, the shmup genre could always use another player.

Both Subterranean Animism and Imperishable Night have excellent soundtracks, and the former is considered one of the hardest games in the series, while the latter is considered one of the easiest.
