I downloaded a pdf, but I want to read it on my kindle. I transferred it, but the fonts were too small to read. I tried converting it to a different format, but I got an error message saying that the converter failed to remove the drm-protection. I have downloaded and tried several tools that claim to remove drm from pdf, but none of the have worked. Does anyone here know of a tool that is able to remove drm from pdf?

"Install Callibre, install DeDRM tools. It contains ineptpdf which removes ADEPT FileOpen protection from PDFs, hopefully that's the right sort of DRM."
Found online, no clue if you've tried.

Thanks, I will try that.
I was able to remove the DRM and convert the file, unfortunately the converted file contained so many errors that it was almost impossible to read. These errors ranged from characters replaced with question marks to double line changes in the middle of sentences.
Use qpdf
qpdf.exe --decrypt input.pdf output.pdf
