Alright, let's see if y'all can help me out. I've had this little message on my screen since I got this computer back in 2014. I'm not sure exactly why it occurred since my version of windows is legitimate however it continuously requests me to activate Windows. It doesn't interrupt me or pull me out of other windows or anything, but it's constantly there and it's started to annoy me. Is there any way to disable without inputting a product code? I don't want to have to call the place I bought the base computer from just for that. If I do need to just input the product code I can just call them tomorrow but I'd rather save my time and remove it some other way. Any input is appreciated. And before you ask yes, I'm fairly tech illiterate.
Windows 8?

10 actually, the problem was present when it was Windows 8 though. Do you need any other information?
You could torrent a Windows 10 activator. Not exactly a legitimate solution, but it works.

I'd rather avoid that if there's an easier solution but I'll keep it in mind.

Just download Microsoft Toolkit, it does the job.

>my version of Windows is legitimate
Your windows product code will be on a little sticker somewhere on your computer.
Just open "about this computer", press "change product key", and type it in.
If it's a laptop, look under the battery. The stickers started being put there to stop the codes rubbing off.
