Help a man out. A man has fucked up. A man has broken something he cannot afford to replace. A man's question is this. Can you take a regular desktop monitor and hook it up to an integrated monitor/computer? The screen is fucked but the internals like the CPU and shit seem to work fine. Pic related. Sorry for shite quality- phone is all I've got.

Not sure of model, but its make is HP. It's not mine so I'm not very familiar with its specs or anything. That's also why I'm freaking the fuck out about replacing it or jury-rigging it.

Like an imac or a laptop?
What connectors are there on the back and sides? If it has VGA/HDMI/Display-port/DVI/S-Video then you can connect it to a second monitor.

You really need to show us pics of the computer, take one from the front and back so we know what it is
