Hello /wsr/ !

I got this photo of my great great grandparents and I would like to restore it using Photoshop so my great grandmother could see the face of her parents before she die.

I beg you to help me with this task, as my skills aren't high enought to do it ...

If not possible, could you at least make the faces clearer ?

try playing with the image>adjustment>curves and image>adjustment>desaturate to make it grayscale

I did as much as I could, but I think there's not much to do with the lady and most of the areas which are simply not there. Someone talented could guess how they looked like and fill the gaps that way, but that's not really my alley.
