Not an image request.
I need things to say aloud. I want to build a voice portfolio but I feel my execution is sloppy and unnatural. Any criticism is welcome.

Nothing insanely long (Sorry Navy Seals copypasta), feel free to propose a certain tone, vibe, or some other criteria. Excerpt from fiction, funny/weird phrases, advertising a product, anything goes.

Picture unrelated.

You expect to impress potential clients with 5-word monosyllable phrases?

Try copying your favorite animes or movies.

If you want, I can show you a very decent reading of picture related, made by a /b/tard some years ago.

No lie, read some Bible verses from ESV or King James version aloud. Especially orated books like Job and Amos. They are very theatrical and will put all your skills to the test, from reading comprehension to the delivery of the lines themselves.

I'd say try a bunch of different things, from literature to modern culture (video games, anime, movie quotes).
And do things that you enjoy.
A few examples I can think of would be
>Shakespear Sonnet 116 ( http://www.shakespeare-online.com/sonnets/116.html )
>parts of Edgar Alan Poe's "the Raven" ( http://www.heise.de/ix/raven/Literature/Lore/TheRaven.html )

And maybe a few fan comics of your favourite video game, maybe a quote from an historical figure.
I don't know, that's all I can think off of the top of my head.
