/g/ told me to go here so I'm here
I'm looking for a nice laptop, something thats sturdy/durable and would be good for light video editing, porn, and maybe some wow private servers and steam games. my price range is about 500-600 bucks but i'd be willing to go a little over if its super worth it. I'm probably going to be dual booting windows 7/10 and some linux distro thats tba (probably mint)
as far as weight goes I don't mind if its a little heavy
also something with a decent battery life and laptop longevity would be nice

What is a little? You can get some really really nice and powerful laptops nowadays, some better than desktops even, but they're heavy has all fucking hell (44.3lbs, buy core i7 4790k and dual gtx 780s in SLI).
Honestly, I'd say go for a Dell of some sort, preferably with some kind of dedicated graphics and at least a quad core i5.
