My sound has recently become really low, even though all the settings are normal.Right now my speakers and sound settings on max are 1/3 of what they used to be.I tried updating drivers, doing full restore, trying out new drivers.In the end nothing seemed to work.So help me out guys!Has anyone had similar issues and can I get some advice?I wish to know what caused this and how it can be fixed.Thanks in advance /wsg !

Laptop or Desktop?

You said you don't think it's the speakers, but have you verified that by trying a set of headphones or second set of speakers?

It's it overall system sound affected, or only in one application?

If it's a desktop, do you have the speakers plugged into the correct audio port? Could it be a short on the speaker wire?
